Her acting career began in her teens by appearing on HBO's 'Sex and the City'. She had her first film role in the musical for teens "Raise Your Voice.". There were several starring roles for her in films including "Charlie Bartlett' in 'Nick and Noah's Infinite Playlist', 'Daydream Nation"', 'To Write Love on Her Arms' as well as "Suburban Gothic," apart from supporting roles in films such as 'The 40-Year Old Virgin", 'Big Mama's House 2 The Answer Man', 'Thor' and its sequel 'Thor: The Dark World'.
