Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26, 1978. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997) are among her best-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira is a Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime part of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime. It was formed at the beginning of March in 2020. She oversees the Assassination Witness as well as a member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement Team. In her work at GI TOC, she focuses on disappearances, assassinations - and violence of other types in the context of illicit economics. Research interests include the effects of organized criminality on the law, policies and laws related to human rights. Ana Paula holds an LL.M with a laude cumulus in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds obtained an LL.M. qualification in Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula received a magnacum Bachelor's degree in laude from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She has been a practicing lawyer for more than four years for a firm focusing on public law litigation. The past experience she has had also involved assisting roles at non-governmental organizations headquartered within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
