Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often known as Rihanna by Barbadians is a singer/songwriter. Her biggest hits include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Rihanna is one of the most popular artists ever. Her professional career has seen great accomplishment, and she's very young. Born in Barbados her family listened to reggae and started singing while she was young. As a result of the chaos that surrounded her family and the fights her parents had, she decided to take up music. Soon she decided she was going to become a performer. They formed a group as a teenager and was able to have perform with producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed with the talent of the young girl. His request was that she be relocated into New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna happily accepted. Rihanna's debut album was shortly launched and Rihanna was a cult artist within a short time. She was a favorite amongst young people due to her lively dance music, which was a hit. This led to Rihanna becoming a director. As a talented young woman, Rihanna has been hailed as a teenage idol. Rihanna uses her fame for charity and regularly contributes to various charities.
